Trish Layde

(she/her/hers), LPC, CRC

Trish graduated from UW-Madison with her Master's in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and is an LPC and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). As a neurodivergent and queer therapist Trish is passionate about co-creating an accepting, empowering environment and therapeutic container with her clients where they can feel seen, safe and understood in order to best navigate mental health challenges and build on their individual strengths.

Her client’s ages range from 6 through adulthood but she has a particular passion for working with late adolescent to young adult aged clients and supporting them as they explore themes such as understanding their gender, sexual, disability, racial and ethnic identities.

Trish works with clients to identify what they find most comfortable and beneficial and incorporates nervous system regulation, interoceptive awareness, movement and mindfulness into sessions. She pulls from different modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR and person-centered counseling through trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and LGBTQ+-affirming lenses.
