  • Occupational Therapy (OT) focuses on occupations (a.k.a. anything you do throughout the day that "occupies" your time). Occupations are different for everyone, but are typically those things that you need to do and want to do in your life.
  • Occupational Therapists work alongside clients to find independence and satisfaction in their daily occupations by addressing the underlying skills, environment, and steps required. Occupational Therapists specifically tailor services to the individual client by considering all underlying factors and needs of the client.
  • How do I know if I or my loved one needs Occupational Therapy?
  • You or your loved one may benefit from Occupational Therapy services if you find that daily activities are challenging or overwhelming. Underlying skills such as motor skills, cognition and executive functioning, social interaction, sensory processing, and interoception all play a part in our daily functioning.
