Rachel is a certified Occupational Therapist with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She earned her Bachelors in Human Development and Family Science, with a focus in child development, from North Dakota State University, along with a minor in Deaf Studies. Rachel has experience facilitating groups with adults in an inpatient psychiatric setting and working with children and adolescents in an outpatient pediatric setting. These experiences have allowed her to work with individuals across a variety of ages, diagnoses, and environments, and have strengthened her passion for providing individualized, meaningful, and supportive care.

Rachel is passionate about providing neuroaffirming care and creating a therapeutic environment where individuals feel understood, accepted, and empowered to be themselves. Drawing from both her professional experience and lived experience with ADHD, she values understanding each person’s unique strengths, needs, interests, and goals. She is passionate about equipping individuals with practical coping and emotional regulation strategies while building confidence and skills to navigate everyday life challenges. At the heart of Rachel’s approach is a belief that occupational therapy should help individuals participate in the activities that are meaningful and important to them, while providing the skills and supports needed to engage more fully in their everyday lives.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys going on hikes with her dog, crocheting, completing art projects, and watching movies.
