Hi everyone! My name is Michelle Quednow (Q for short) and I am a Special Education Teacher at Common Threads School program. I am so incredibly excited to meet and work with you! I have been a Special Education teacher over 15 years and love what I get to learn from students every day. The joys and challenges of this role keep me curious and always learning, which is why I have never stopped. My most favorite part of working with students is learning from them and about them, building a safe learning environment that is individualized for each student, and helping students grow and become more than what they thought possible. I cannot wait to get to know you, for you to get to know me, and for us to grow in our journey together!
I have a family of two daughters, a husband who makes gourmet marshmallows, three cats and a rabbit. The rabbit is the old man of the house and he runs it. I'm always looking for new ideas, trying new foods, and being willing to be wrong. Much like Bob Ross... there are no mistakes, only happy accidents.
