Liv Lacayo

(she/her/hers), Service Facilitator

Liv is a dedicated service facilitator with a Master of Social Work specializing in child, youth, and family services from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in Spanish, enriching her practice with a multicultural perspective. With over six years of professional experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families, Liv is passionate about enhancing service delivery and improving outcomes for her clients at Common Threads Family Resource Center. Her expertise lies in fostering collaboration and understanding, ensuring that each client’s unique needs are met with compassion and efficiency. Liv is committed to supporting clients on their mental health journeys, utilizing their strengths and interests to guide the services they receive. She believes that creating inclusive environments is essential for effective support and is proactive in engaging in professional development to stay current on best practices in disability and mental health services.

Previously, Liv gained valuable experience in direct practice by working with adults and children with disabilities and mental health diagnoses on an organic produce farm and in customer service settings. She looks forward to contributing her skills and passion to the mission of Common Threads, empowering families and strengthening community connections. Outside of work, Liv enjoys crocheting, being outdoors, and spending time with her dog.
