Kennedy is a recent graduate from UW-Madison with a master’s degree in social work and is a licensed Advanced Practice Social Worker.
Kennedy is currently working towards her LCSW license to practice independently. As a neurodivergent psychotherapist, Kennedy is committed to providing a safe, affirming, and empowering space for individuals of all ages, from children to adults. Kennedy is passionate about exploring and identifying sensory needs, emotion regulation skills, and social skills to foster growth, empowerment and self-advocacy.
Drawing from a variety of approaches, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and supportive psychotherapy, Kennedy tailors her work to your specific needs, and collaborates with you to reach your goals. She believes in a strengths-based approach that recognizes your resilience and supports you in using your strengths to navigate life's challenges.
Kennedy understands the importance of flexibility, and provides psychotherapy in a multitude of modalities including in-person, telehealth, individual and group sessions.
