(she/her/hers), OTD, School Director
I am honored to serve as the School Program Director at Common Threads! With nearly 15 years of experience supporting children with disabilities and their families, including work with MMSD, UCP Birth to Three Program, and the Waisman Center Clinics, I am committed to strengths-based, neuroaffirming, and relationship-centered practices.
I hold a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from UW–Madison, an advanced certificate in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND), and am a trainer in the Neurosequential Model for Education, a trauma-informed framework that shapes my approach to learning, relationships, and regulation.
I am passionate about meeting children where they are at by creating environments where they feel safe, connected, understood, and empowered to discover a love of learning. This work is personal to me, as I have two siblings with complex medical and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
Outside of work, I enjoy walks with my Goldendoodle, Nala, trying new restaurants with my husband, playing sand volleyball, reading, crafting, and cheering on the Packers!
