Amber is a Licensed Special Education teacher at Common Threads. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and is currently working towards earning her Masters Degree in Dyslexia and Language Based Disabilities and Autism. When not in the classroom, Amber is the Co-Director and Wig, Hair, and Makeup Designer at the Parker Arts Academy in Janesville. As a dedicated Special Education teacher and passionate theatre artist, Amber blends her love for education and the performing arts to create inclusive, creative spaces where all students can thrive. In the classroom, she uses individualized strategies to support diverse learners, and she brings those same principles into the theatre—adapting roles, fostering collaboration, and celebrating every student's unique strengths. Whether teaching academic skills or directing actors on the stage, she believes in the power of creativity, community, and student voice to unlock potential and build confidence.
