Alaina Johnson

Alaina is a dedicated psychotherapist passionate about supporting individuals with diverse mental health needs through strengths-based and person-centered therapy. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and specializes in helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate challenges related to anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, and emotional regulation.

With experience across therapy clinics, community organizations, and school-based settings, Alaina has developed expertise in play therapy, trauma-informed care, and the Social Thinking curriculum. She integrates evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Passionate about advocacy and social justice, Alaina actively promotes culturally responsive care and fosters a safe, affirming space for clients of all backgrounds. She values collaboration and works closely with families and other professionals to support holistic well-being and long-term growth.

Outside of work, Alaina enjoys exploring nature, attending live music events, spending time with her two cats, and connecting with family and friends.
