Common Threads Family Resource Center houses a unique and
exciting therapeutic play facility, where children with autism can learn to
play and grow within an inclusion based setting. Our talented and experienced
staff understand and welcome all children. We pride ourselves in maintaining a
strength-based approach, embracing the whole child while promoting social and
emotional flexibility.
Our Therapeutic Play Facility proudly serves
children across the entire autism spectrum. Our treatment goals work
towards transforming each child’s life one step at a time, thereby
helping them achieve their full potential. Our
inclusive model allows children of all abilities to learn, play, and
grow side by side, and provides a challenging, enlightening and
motivating environment for all. Children with special needs and
children with typical needs (without disabilities) interact throughout
the day within our therapeutic play program, and contribute to each
others’ developmental growth in unique and life-changing ways.
