Common Threads Programs/Services

Our Staff

Devoted, experienced, caring.

These are just a few words used to describe Common Threads staff. Others include knowledgeable, patient, and innovative. We believe in each of the children that walk through our door and embrace all of the families who seek out our center. At Common Threads your child and family will be exposed to a community of professionals, who collectively possess over 150 years of autism spectrum experience. Our multidisciplinary approach brings together a team of professionals to provide the best services for each individual and family.

Allow us to introduce you to our Common Threads team:

  •  Psychologists — provide diagnostic evaluations, therapy, parent guidance, day treatment and case management services for families with a variety of needs.  
     
  •  Mental Health Professionals — treat children who have autism or developmental, behavioral or emotional challenges, work with families and siblings with a variety of needs.  
     
  • Therapeutic Play Facilitators— provide direct care and services of individuals within our therapeutic play facility. Create group and individual opportunities for growth within an inclusion model.  
     
  • Respite Facilitators — provide care and services of individuals within our respite facility.  
     
  • Art Therapists — uses the creative process of art making to improve and enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of individuals of all ages.  
     
  • Dance Therapists— uses movement and dance to improve and enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of individuals of all ages.  
     
  • Music Therapists — use music to help children develop academic, social, emotional, communication and physical skills.  
     
  • Occupational Therapists — evaluate and treat children with fine and gross motor delay, difficulty with self-care and sensory integration disorders.
